What is the Fluid Innovation and Application Centre?
The so-called FIZ on our NETZSCH Campus is specially designed to implement ideas, develop applications, and combine theory with practice. Here, we can develop the optimal pump solution for even the most demanding media in tight coordination and cooperation with our customers.

What impressive things have been done at FIZ so far?
Since we also provide support in case of problems, we had a case with mayonnaise. Due to low throughput, there were issues with the conveying, so our customer sent us 2,000 kilograms of mayonnaise, including a pump, for testing purposes. Through a few experiments and interdisciplinary discussions, we developed a simple but effective solution in just one week, from picking up the pump from the customer to its return delivery.
