The NEMO® BO Open Hopper Progressing Cavity Pump housing features an expanded rectangular hopper, a force feed chamber, and an integrated feeding screw. This design enables consistent, low-pulsation conveyance that remains stable despite pressure or viscosity changes. The versatile, high-performance NEMO® progressing cavity pumps ensure continuous, pressure-stable, gentle, and low-pulsation pumping across various media types. The constant shape of the cavities prevents compression of the pumped material, allowing NEMO® pumps to handle not only fluids but also solids effectively. A key benefit of these valveless progressing cavity pumps is their reliable, continuous conveyance of even highly viscous and abrasive products with minimal pulsation.

This NEMO® pump design can handle products up to 25,000 Cps to flow rates of up to 200 Cumt/ Hr and pressures up to 48 bar.  In specific applications, this capability can be extended to higher pressures.

NEMO® pumps are also versatile enough to function as submersible pumps in wells or for barrel emptying, and dosing with open-end connections. With four different Rotorrotor,Rotors,rotorsrotor/stator geometries, each NEMO® pump is finely tailored to meet specific application needs, maximizing performance, service life, and reliability. All components, except for the rotor and stator, are identical. This allows an installed NEMO® progressing cavity pump to be easily adapted to new operating conditions by simply replacing the rotor and stator if flow rate or pressure requirements change.

Available in a wide range of materials, NEMO® pumps can be constructed from grey cast iron, chrome-nickel steel, or highly acid-resistant materials such as Duplex, Hastelloy, and titanium, as well as ceramics, plastics, and elastomers for aggressive and abrasive applications.
